For Virginia
Beta SP 13 minutes, 2000

A silent woman walks in the bustle of Bloor Street. The architecture of power (Parliament, University buildings, war memorials) and the street where homeless women interact with passersby are mediated by the spirit of Virginia Woolf who asks: What is this civilization in which we find ourselves...Where are the sons of educated men leading us?

Along with Off The 401 and Past/Future, this tape looks at our lives now, what's around us, through the prism of the artist.
